Common Dryer Issues
When a dryer malfunctions, it can be incredibly disruptive to a family routine. The dryer is often a key part of daily life, and when it breaks down it can throw off a family's schedule and cause stress. Having to deal with the repair can take up a lot of time and money, and it can be a source of frustration if it takes a while to get fixed. In addition, having to find alternate drying solutions while the dryer is out of commission can be a hassle, and can add extra time to laundry day. All of these disruptions can cause a lot of stress and take away precious time that could have been spent doing something else.
Common issues with dryers include not heating up, not spinning, not starting, not tumbling, and not shutting off. When your dryer isn't heating up, it is usually due to a malfunctioning heating element or thermostat. When your dryer isn't spinning, it is usually due to a worn belt or a broken motor. When your dryer isn't starting, it is usually due to a faulty switch or a blown fuse. When your dryer isn't tumbling, it is usually due to a worn belt or a worn roller. Lastly, when your dryer isn't shutting off, it is usually due to a faulty timer or thermostat. Not to worry! All of these issues, and more, are generally solvable by one of our professional technicians.
Dryer Belt Malfunction
Replacing a dryer belt is a fairly straightforward process. First, you will need to find the right size belt for your dryer model. Next, you will need to unplug the dryer from the wall and remove the back panel of the dryer. Once the panel is removed, you can access the pulley and belt system. To remove the old belt, you will need to slide the belt off the pulley and motor shafts. Once the old belt is removed, you can install the new belt by slipping it over the pulley and motor shafts. Finally, you will need to reattach the back panel, plug the dryer back in, and you are all set! Our technicians are very experienced with this process and can even show you how to do it while we are onsite.
Repairing your dryer instead of buying a new one has plenty of benefits. Firstly, it helps you save money as repairing is more economical than buying a new one. Secondly, it is more eco-friendly as it helps reduce the amount of electronic waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. Additionally, repairing your dryer can help extend its life and increase its efficiency, which can result in reduced energy consumption and lower energy bills. Moreover, you can also help reduce the need for raw materials that are used to manufacture new dryers, thereby helping conserve resources. We are happy to help you get your dryer running properly again.
We are committed to excellent communication, timely diagnosis and estimation, and quality repair.
